Comet 1998 J1 (SOHO)

Comet 1998 J1 (SOHO).
Started 1998-05-30 7.02.
Using 33cm Newtonian and 10x50.
Found comet at approx 6h 15m, -12°.
Much fainter and harder to find than when seen on 24/5/1998.
Nucleus indistinct, even change in illumination to edge of coma.
Very faint hint on tail pointing up and slightly S.
No color apparent, cf observation on 24.
Used 9mm Nägler and 19mm Televue eyepiece.
