I got up extra early today and drove 300 kilometers to go to the Warbirds Over Wanaka 2004 Airshow. I arrived a little bit late and was lucky because the weather on the coast was quite cloudy but at Wanaka itself the sky was clear and it was quite warm.

The show itself was definitely worth seeing. I particularly enjoyed the demonstration of the Sukhoi Su-31 aerobatics aircraft by expert pilot, Jurgis Kairys.
