Worst Program Ever!

God I hate Microsoft Word! I am a very competent computer user. I write programs, I build web sites, I design databases. I am competent at using many complex programs. As soon as I have to use that worthless piece of crap, Microsoft Word, I am reduced to a mindless raving idiot.

Its the most illogical, poorly designed, unreliable, slow piece of junk I've ever seen. Even by Microsoft's standards its bad. Why do people use it? Because they are too lazy to explore the alternatives. Well thanks a lot - because everyone else has made Word the standard, now I'm stuck with it too!

Yeah, I'm using MS Word at this very moment. So frustrated I had do a search to see what other people had to say. After learning all the Adobe, Quark, Macromedia products at uni, I now wonder how the hell I ever survived without them. Word is a dog of a program. Thanks OJ, I feel a little better now.

Maybe we need a Microsoft users' support group. Having endless problems with Word is not your fault - it happens to everyone. Time to look at alternatives: Pages, Mellel, Nisus, even AppleWorks.

Yes, I just Googled "God I hate Microsoft Word" and found this blog. I'm in the same boat. I write ANSI C-code programs, can dig around in binary files, am a degreed mechanical engineer (graduated with honors no less), and I can't, for the last hour and a half now, figure out how to get the stupid automatic numbering system to do wtf it's supposed to do. Grrrr. At least I'm getting paid an exorbitant of money amount to sit here and jack around with this company-specified dog-crap of a program. With all the money Microsoft rakes in, you think they could come up with a word processing program that is just a little intuitive. Guess Bill Gates is too busy trying to save the world now instead of his company's flagging reputation...
