Project number: 26 (number in database). Original project name: Biochem Grant Database. Development type or programming language: FileMaker. Platform designed for/with: Mac. Year of most recent major modification: 2001.
The Biochem Grant Database is a multi-user FileMaker Pro 4 database I created for the Biochemistry Department. It keeps track of the research grants, the equipment bought, the salaries paid, the overall balance, and other financial information. Because of the obscure way these grants are allocated and administered, this had a fairly complex structure, with several tables with tricky inter-dependencies.
