Project number: 21 (number in database). Original project name: Assessment Database. Development type or programming language: FileMaker. Platform designed for/with: Mac. Year of most recent major modification: 2002.
The Assessment Database is a FileMaker Pro database that I created for my wife, who is a teacher. It imports a text file of student data from the school's database. It is used for creating reports for the students which are entered by clicking options on the form and choosing from a set of standard comments. The database automtically subsitutes "his" or "her", the student's name, etc into the comments. This saves a lot of time creating reports and the printed output looks good too.
