Beach Bonfire

At new year 2019 we spent some time in the Golden Bay area, near Nelson, New Zealand. We decided to have a relaxing time on the beach and needed a bonfire. We actually got permission to light the fire, by the way.

No true photography fan refuses the opportunity to make use of an interesting lighting and composition opportunity like that, of course! This was taken with a Canon EOS 500D with a wide angle lens at 39 mm, aperture f/6.3, and 1/80 second shutter time.
