Up to OJB's Photos List Dunedin Railway Station The Dunedin Railway station is one of New Zealand's most famous buildings. The building was designed by George Troup, and construction was started in 1903. The building uses basalt and Oamaru stone. At its peak it handled 100 trains a day and was the busiest station in the country. This photo was taken with an iPhone 6S and uses a low camera angle, both to include some of the spring flowers and to emphasise the height of the building. |
