Up to OJB's Photos List Toboggan Ride The toboggan ride involves coming down a hill in a small toboggan which runs on a stainless steel track. These can get quite a bit of speed up but you are encouraged to use the brake when required. Naturally, the challenge was to complete the run without using the brake! It was possible to get these things quite sideways coming through the bends which had a lot of camber on them - apparently it is possible for them to fly off the track too. This photo shows Sharyn, closely followed by Kath, at the bottom of one of our rides for the day. |
