Start Up to OJB's Stories List Akaroa 2022 On 4 and 5 May 2022 we travelled to Akaroa to collect our new mini American shepherd puppy, Ally. Apart from collecting her, we also had some spare time to have a quick look around the quaint little town of Akaroa. It's a touristy town, near Christchurch city, but isolated from it by some very windy roads which separate the town from the rest of the country, so that it feels very different, maybe because it is was originally a French settlement, unlike the rest of the country which was primarily settled by the British.
