Stop Near Omakau (3)

I suppose one of the tedious things about travelling with a photography enthusiast is having to stop every few kilometers for a photo session. This photo is looking south from the road in the general direction of the Raggedy Range (great name) and the Ida Valley, beyond. Sharyn's leaning against the car recovering from a reasonably fast journey!

Many of the photos I like from Central seem to have lots of sky. Its interesting to see this is common in art from the area as well. It does give a sense of the isolation and openness of the area, where there are no significant towns for many kilometers.
