Previous Next Up to OJB's Story Rialto Towers (2) This is the tallest building in Melbourne (actually the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere) the Rialto Towers. I took a high speed lift to the top to get some spectcaular views of the city. The Rialto Towers is officially number 85 in the world's tallest building, but this is a bit misleading because many have tall masts or are towers instead of genuine buildings). It is 251 meters (824 feet) tall and has 63 floors. It was completed in 1986. Most of Australia's other tall buildings are also in Melbourne (not Sydney, as you might expect). |
