I tasted the 2003 vintage of this wine on 10 Sep 2005 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was medium-deep ruby red. There was soft cherry fruit and light spicy savoury bouquet. The taste had smooth berry fruit and peppery savoury flavours, and a soft oak finish. This was a pleasant soft, moderately complex wine.
I tasted the 2014 vintage of this wine on 29 Dec 2015 when it was 1 year old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was quite clear deep ruby red. The bouquet had smooth dark cherry and light spice. There was sweet cherry fruit, and soft tannins. This was a quite fruity style, with medium body, and light tannic balance, but a bit lacking complexity.
I tasted the 2020 vintage of this wine on 16 Aug 2023 when it was 3 years old and gave it a rating of ok.
The colour was medium-deep ruby red. The bouquet had cherry fruit, and some light earthiness and wood. There was dark cherry flavours, and a medium dy light tannic finish. This wine had medium body, was quite well balanced, and had moderate complexity.
Note 1: I am not really a wine expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these wines. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot of this particular wine, on my recommendation, and then regret it!
Note 2: You may not fully agree with my evaluation of these wines, as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on complexity and intense characteristic and varietal flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities.
