I tasted the 2019 vintage of this wine on 22 Jun 2021 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The color was quite deep ruby red. The bouquet had sweet fruity spice and vanilla oak. There was smooth berry and plum fruit, and a medium dry oak finish. This wine had medium body, and was well balanced.
I tasted the 2016 vintage of this wine on 16 Apr 2019 when it was 3 years old and gave it a rating of good-.
The colour was deep ruby red, with quite strong legs. The bouquet had strong plum fruit and chocolate tannins. There was full fruit, some earthiness, mint and pepper, and a smooth dry tannic finish. This wine had quite complex flavours, and well integrated fruit and wood
