I tasted the 1995 vintage of this wine on 02 May 1997 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was medium deep red. The bouquet had mellow medium-dry earthy peppery, and raspberry fruit. The flavour had woody medium-dry pepper, with warm smooth jammy raspberry fruit. The wine was quite smooth.
I tasted the 2018 vintage of this wine on 19 Jan 2021 when it was 3 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was quite deep ruby red. The bouquet had strong berry and spice, and light vanilla tannins. There was full berry fruit, mint and spice, dark chocolate, and a medium dry wood finish. This wine had quite full flavours.
