I tasted the 1998 vintage of this wine on 28 Nov 2004 when it was 6 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
Appearance was bright yellow gold in colour, and slightly oily. The bouquet showed dry oak and citrus melon fruit. The taste had smooth buttery melon and citrus fruit. This was a well balanced but relatively simple style.
I tasted the 2003 vintage of this wine on 10 Jun 2005 when it was 2 years old and gave it a rating of ok+.
The colour was light to medium gold, and it was slightly oily. The bouquet showed crisp stalky butterscotch. THere was a dry stalky lemon-lime taste, and a light buttery feel. Overall, this was clean well balanced pleasant fruity style.
