These are movies of the mighty F-111 Aardvark taken at the Warbirds Over Wanaka 2006 air show. This was avery impressive display, with the dump and burn, and plenty of noise!
You can see the wings swept back to 72 degrees in this movie of the F-111 flying past the main grandstand. Listen to the awesome sound of the engines, as well. Even at low speed its impressive! Use the controller above to watch the F111 fly past, with the wings swept back (this requires a modern HTML5 browser which supports the H.264 codec, and is an approximately 140K movie). Thank you to Denise Moulin for providing this video which she captured with her compact digital camera.

Here's some interesting stats about the F-111 (hopefully I've got them right because this is just from memory)... When cruising it uses enough fuel to empty a large car's fuel tank in 4 seconds. Each engine has more power than the entire starting grid of a Formula 1 race, and it has two engines!
