Unlike past shows, no modern jets appeared at this show because the various air force displays (including the F-22) were cancelled, but some older models still flew this year.

The Vampire was designed near the end of World War II, and has been in active service until quite recently. It was used by Austria, Australia, Burma, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Rhodesia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, United Kingdom, and Venezuela.

The Strikemaster is a British light attack aircraft, and advanced flight trainer. It first flew 1967. The RNZAF acquired 16 in 1972. In total, 164 were built between 1967 and 1984. About 11 privately-owned Strikemasters are still flying.
