Finally summer has arrived here in New Zealand. The weather in December and January was much colder and wetter than we would expect, but for the last week or two we have had brilliant weather, at last.
Even here in Dunedin (one of the cooler cities in New Zealand) the only complaint has been too much sun. In Central Otago the temperature has reached 40 Celsius (or over 100 Fahrenheit) but its cooler - in the high 20s - in most of the rest of the country.
