This project is a FileMaker database which is used by the Political Studies Department for analysing media treatment of political issues in newspapers. The amount of text and some information about the content of news articles is stored and the database creates summaries of the data for different parties, politicians, etc. Panorama does this sort of thing very well - its fast and flexible enough to do arbitrary queries of this type easily.
