The Hacktext program is a Pascal application which does automated processing of text files using a control file. It has a minimal interface and is controlled by entering commands into another text file called a control file which stores the name of the input file, outpuit file and what string manipulation to do. I created it to process a particular type of file for a project I was working on but then extended it to be a more general tool.
