NVivo Version Numbers

NVivo has a confusing series of version numbers. The following shows the recent versions in the order of release, including the year released, for the Mac and Windows versions...

Mac versions
NVivo 12: 2018
NVivo 1.0: 2020
NVivo 14: 2023
NVivo 15: 2024

Windows versions
NVivo 11: 2015
NVivo 12: 2018
NVivo 1.0: 2020
NVivo 14: 2023
NVivo 15: 2024

So, NVivo 1.0 is like version 13, and there is no version 11 for Mac. Simple!
