Scan Documents in the Files App

The new (in iOS 13) Files app now lets you scan documents and save them directly onto your device or into cloud storage:

Open the Files app.
Select the Browse tab.
Tap on the three-dot icon in the top-right corner.
Tap Scan Documents.
Hold your device over the document you want to scan.
It should automatically capture the page.
You can scan multiple pages into one PDF file.
Yu can save to iCloud, or import it into another app.

Note: This works in iOS 13 and above.

I usually write a blog post about once a week. The latest post can be viewed here: Avoid Microsoft: If you don't really like computers much you could make things a bit better for yourself. (posted 2024-12-04 at 12:05:50). I do podcasts too!. You can listen to my latest podcast, here: OJB's Podcast 2024-08-22 Stirring Up Trouble: Let's just get every view out there and fairly debate them..
