Moeraki Boulders

The Moeraki Boulders are a collection of quite large, almost spherical boulders near the small village of Moeraki, about an hour north of Dunedin. They are concretions of mud and clay, loosely held together with calcite.

I picked the shady side of the boulder to make it stand out against the lighter coloured waves, and a moderately slow shutter speed just to blur the water slightly.
