Up to OJB's Photos List Weka One of the native birds we saw on the island was this weka which came down to the beach and was eating bits of shellfish the kids threw to it. I guess this is the Stewart Island weka which is only found on small islands in Foveaux Strait and the south coast of Stewart Island. |
