Wanaka is a tourist town in Central Otago, New Zealand. It has two major ski fields and is also popular for water sports, fishing, boating on the lake, and general tourism, although it a bit dominated by nearby Queenstown in this.
Wanaka airport is also the home of "Warbirds Over Wanaka", an internationally known air show which is usually held every two years. You can see photos from this in the aircraft section of this site.
