The Gates Module

Bill Gates was thinking about his next move. His plan to take over the world was progressing well, but he had to be careful in the future to ensure a smooth transition to the New World Order. The cognoscenti had to be kept informed, or they might also be swept up in his devilish plans for the human race.

It was imperative that the human population should be reduced, and for those who remained, total control had to be established; for their own good, of course.

He reflected on how the great leaders of the past (Hitler, Stalin, Mao) had come so close to what he was about to achieve, but always fell short because they failed to take every possible source of failure into account. But he, as the world's greatest computer scientist, had an unmatched ability to cope with technical detail, and he was sure he would not fall into the same trap.

He was patient, but his advancing years meant he increasingly felt the need to accelerate the progress on his great project. Back in 1985 he had created Windows, which he always thought of as "the One Operating System To Rule Them All", and it was wildly successful. Most of the world's computers ran his OS and, although he had failed to take over the smartphone market in the same way, the leaders at Google and Apple were part of the cabal, so that was a minor inconvenience.

Total control required a ubiquitous communications network, so the increasing power of cellular networks could be put to good use. But it was only once 5G was introduced that the bandwidth for full control had been possible. But even then there were many places with no coverage, until another member of the ruling class, Elon Musk, had come up with the brilliant idea of a large constellation of satellites, which he called StarLink.

The joke was, of course, that the "stars" were the leaders of the New Order, and the "link" wasn't for communications, it was for control. But the average person on the street had no more idea of this devious plan than they did of how his Windows operating system was being used to manipulate them and spy on them.

It was a stroke of pure genius to make Windows so easy to hack that they could install spying tools at any time, and in the unlikely event they were caught they could just blame Russian hackers.

So by the time 2019 arrived, most of the parts were in place. All he had to do now was demand the leaders of China repay him for all the manufacturing work he had sent to their country. The best way to control people was through fear, and the greatest fear was for a poorly understood and deadly disease. It was time to have the virus that was being developed in Wuhan released on the world.

And it succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. Many of the world leaders were already part of the plan, but those who weren't fell into line after following the lead of the others. Even the unexpected intrusion of Donald Trump had only been a temporary problem and by manipulating the vote in the previous election, the puppet president, Biden, had been put in place to continue the plan. Sure, some people had detected the election fraud, but the continuous propaganda from the media soon discredited that view.

Once the people in charge of Twitter and Facebook were also invited to join the World Government, control over dissenting voices on social media could also be established. And it was easy to label anyone who saw through this plan as a conspiracy theorist, and have them banned. Of course, the irony was that this really was a conspiracy!

So once China had deliberately released the coronavirus and COVID had been established as a major danger to the world, it had been easy to persuade the majority of people to go along with the draconian lockdowns and other restrictions. Then the vaccines, which had carefully been prepared well ahead of time, could be released after a short delay which was just enough to make it look like it had been developed since the pandemic began.

The nanobots in the vaccine (known internally as "the Gates Modules") woud be activated by the 5G towers - and less efficiently by the Starlink satellites where necessary - making control of the masses relatively easy. Even the bugs found in the initial code of the bots could be fixed by pretending a booster was necessary, allowing version 1.1 of the bots to be injected into the compliant and unthinking people.

The variants of COVID - which were all engineered ahead of time to allow control over several years - were labelled with Greek letters. Delta had been the first major update which had become necessary when control began slipping, and that worked well for many months.

When it looked like many countries were getting back to a level of freedom that the plan couldn't cope with, it had been necessary to release other variants. After Nu, the next variant, according to the Greek alphabet, should have been Xi, but that couldn't be used for two reasons: it was part of Chinese Communist Party general secretary's, Xi Jinping's, name, which might have made it a too obvious connection to China; and it was necessary to bring the Omicron variant forward for other reasons.

No one seemed to wonder what would happen to the naming of variants once the 24 letters of the Greek alphabet were all used, and there were only nine letters left. Of course, he knew that the plan would be complete before those extra nine letters needed to be used.

Bill congratulated himself on the brilliance of the plan. Almost everything was now in place and the final stage could soon be initiated. When the Omega variant appeared, the world would be faced with a death rate beyond anyone's worst imagination. Half the people of the world would die from this variant. Of course, it was the bots in the vaccine choosing who would die, based on his requirements, and not the virus itself, which was almost harmless.

And finally, one last message had to be included to act as a sign to his allies. It had to be subtle, but still signal the next stage of the plan, and this was the second reason the Greek letter Omicron had been chosen for the second major variant. The letters of the words "Delta Omicron" could be rearranged into an anagram: "Media Control". This detail in the plan would act as a sign that everything was on course.

Satisfied that all was in place, Gates turned to his PC. He started up the secure communications app to send his next instructions to his collaborators. But as he typed the message, his PC crashed into the "blue screen of death". Frustrated with this problem he remembered Apple's famous 1984 ad, so he called his friend Tim Cook and said "Hey Tim, could you send me a Mac please. I need it to help me take over the world..."

LOL. Not sure if you really believe this stuff is true or if you are just showing how silly the conspiracies are.

I just tried to throw every COVID-related conspiracy theory into one short satirical story. It could be the plot of a science fiction or spy novel though, couldn't it? Whether I believe all, or any, of this stuff has any merit, I will leave for you to judge!

The more I hear about Meta, the more I think about Ready Player 2, and then I hear about all the rich kids building spacecraft and wonder, if indeed jumping planet is the grand plan. There are a lot of talkers, and not many doers. It's the doers you have to be concerned about, especially the rich ones.

I don't think anyone who thinks they are going to escape the planet on a private spacecraft is going to succeed; there's nowhere to go. The rich "doers" are both a concern, and make a valuable contribution, in many cases.
